A vintage wine poster from c1925! This original lithograph, Les Vins de Bourgogne, was designed by Guy Arnoux.
In this image, we see a pristine French cavalier smoking a pipe and gleefully observing his pour of delicious red wine. He is cascaded in grape arbors and sitting atop a barrel of tasty vino. The pops of crimson mixed with the rejuvenating teal accents of the militant coat allow for this royalist to be the focal point of the graphic. Art signed in plate on the left corner just below the graphic.
Condition: Good. The original glass in the frame was damaged in transit...and the mat surrounding the poster is damaged. There are some imperfections to the image and some yellowing of the paper. Glass and mats will need to be replaced. A stunning piece.
