Set of 4 John Widdicomb Parson's Style Dining Chairs on Castors

A great set of four John Widdicomb Parsons style dining chairs.  This set has it's original upholstery (which is still in good condition)The upholstery fabric is in shades of light brown, cream and khaki.  The tufted backs of the chairs have 4 buttons.  The legs are finished in a warm walnut stain.  The set is fully marked with brass tags.  Circa 1960s. These chairs feature a timeless silhouette and great "bones".  This set of chairs is on castors. 

 John Widdicomb was an American furniture manufacturer known for producing high-quality, luxury furniture for over a century. Founded in Grand Rapids, MI in 1897, the John Widdicomb Company was a spin-off of the Widdicomb Furniture Company, which was first established by his family in 1858. The company was a style leader, producing everything from classic American Empire and Colonial Revival pieces to Mid-Century Modern designs. 

The chairs have their original upholstery which is still in good condition.  There are a few light stains and one pull in the fabric.  There are a few scuffs to the legs (see close up images) and a few castors are missing their rubber protectors (but they operate normally).
