Lovely "Wildflower" snack set from Lefton China.  This porcelain China features a tea cup and saucer/snack or biscuit plate that has a convenient cut out for your thumb to rest in, and an indentation for your tea cup to rest in.  

It gave the user a chance to enjoy their tea and biscuits or dessert while holding the saucer and cup in one hand.  The wildflowers are hand painted in bright colors and the plates and cups are trimmed in platinum (there is some loss to the platinum).
