Pal Kepenyes was a Hungarian artist and jewelry designer known for his unique and innovative designs. He was born in Budapest in 1926 and began his career as a painter and sculptor. In the 1950s, he moved to Paris and began to experiment with jewelry design.  He eventually settled in Mexico.

Kepenyes's jewelry is characterized by its sculptural qualities and use of unusual materials such as gold, silver, bronze, and semi-precious stones. His designs often feature organic shapes and textures, and he was particularly interested in incorporating natural elements such as shells, bones, and stones into his work.

Kepenyes's jewelry has been exhibited in museums and galleries around the world, and his pieces are highly sought after by collectors.
