Framed original painting by Ethel Cohen of a colorful tropical fish.  Painting sits under glass and mat (cream colored).  This colorful work was purchased in the 50's or 60's by  a family that lived in Chicago's Gold Coast.  It still has a tag on the back from when it was purchased ($100 back then....adjusted for inflation that would be roughly $1000 today).  

It is beautifully framed.

The framed dimensions are 26"W x 23"H x 1.75"D.  The measurements inside the mat are: 16.75"W x 13.75"W.  The painting was not removed from the frame so measurements are quite like larger than shown above.
