Mid century walnut dining chair designed by Bertha Schaefer for Singer & Sons with the original label intact. These chairs have a walnut frame and original orange leather upholstered seats. They were made for Singer & Sons in Italy.
These chairs have a lovely shape that we are sure Vladimir Kagan would approve of; they are curved, sleek and sexy. The wood grain is stunning and the craftsmanship on these chairs is virtually impossible to match today. They are showstoppers.
Six chairs available - all from the same estate. The chairs are in excellent original condition. One of the most stunning examples of mid-century design. They are both beautiful and comfortable. If you need more chairs, we acquired 2 additional chairs and had them upholstered in a spice colored mohair that is almost exactly the same color as the seats on these chairs (available in a separate listing - although last photo shows those chairs).
