A lovely vintage mid-century side table designed by Michael Taylor for Baker Furniture Company.  It was part of his Far East Collection.

The table is in original condition.  It is lacquered in oxblood red.  Hexagonal in shape.  Chinoiserie style.  It retains the metal Baker label on the underside.  There are some scratches to the top of the table consistent with age and use.

Michael Taylor's collections for Baker Furniture exemplify his "California Look" which blended casual elegance with sophistication. Their partnership resulted in timeless and highly sought-after mid-century modern pieces, including the Far East Collection and the New World Collection.
