Lovely 3 piece set by American of Martinsville in bleached mahogany with chinoiserie details.  Lovely brass hardware on the drawers of the chests (which have 4 drawers each).  There is a floating vanity or desk that rests on the tops of the 2 chests.  It has 2 small drawers.  This is a beautiful and very functional piece of mid-century modern furniture.  We haven't been able to find a single matching set on any platform (1st Dibs, Chairish or Incollect.  It is clearly somewhat rare.

The piece is in good original condition.  It has light use and wear for the age of the piece.  We thought about sending it out for restoration (to bring back the full beauty of the wood grain) but we thought the buyer might like to select the stain color and/or send it out to be lacquered.  Keep the wood light, change the stain to a dark walnut or even lacquer it in a bright slightly off-white.  

Each chest is 20.25"D x 34"W x 35"H

Desk is 34"W x 22"D (at the deepest) and desk/vanity top is 5.5" below the top of the chest.

All three pieces together are 102" W.
