Pair of 1950's Gilt Palm Tree Lamps attributed to Warren Kessler - SOLD

Beautiful and rare pair of 1950’s Warren Kessler (attr) Gilded Palm Tree Table Lamp(rarely found as a pair - with identical gilding and patina).  These are simply stunning.  The lamps are working and the gilding is in very good condition.  There are two small areas that show loss (see close up images) but otherwise they are breathtaking.  They have what appears to be their original shades.  One of the shades is damaged...but with the original frames new shades could be made to meet your unique specifications.  If you'd like the original shades shipped along with the lamps we would need to box them separately (so ask for a total shipping quote).  These lamps have lost their original Kessler label (they were paper and glued on so sometime in the last 70 years they must have fallen off). 

The dimensions are 38.5"H to top of shade (final is about 1" higher) x 19 7/8" W (that width is the shades width).  The base is 8"W and the palm fronds at their widest point are 15.5"W.

The Warren Kessler Lamp Company was founded in 1939 in NYC. They manufactured lamps and lighting.  A few of their creations were on display in the White House and they made lamps for all the American embassies. The Kessler company closed its doors in the early 1980's
