Chinese Chippendale Style Upholstered Bench with pagoda detail. Possibly 19th or 20th Century. No makers marks.
Some slight marks and scuffing to frame. The upholstery on the seat is stained (and the seat cushion hasn't been screwed unto the frame). Looks like it was reupholstered (not professionally) at some point. It would benefit from reupholstery. We imagined this reupholstered in a vintage Schumacher fabric and even scored some thinking we would send it out for reupholstery. We'll gladly include that vintage fabric with the bench is the buyer so desires.
Bench dimensions are: 45" W x 20" D x 43"H. Seat height is 18".
The lines of this bench are beautiful. It would fit into almost any decorating scheme. Simply timeless.
