Oil on canvas, signed en verso, titled, dated 1974, inscribed 'No. 63', and bearing the artist's stamp. The background features shades of tan and the center of the canvas has shades of blue, orange, red and grey with black "text" lettering as the central feature.
Harry Bouras' (1931-1990) paintings and sculptures are displayed in collections worldwide. He was an artist, teacher and critic.
As a painter, he exhibited in numerous one-man shows in the United States and abroad. His work is in permanent collections at the Art Institute of Chicago and the Museum of Modern Art and in Rochester, N.Y., and Tokyo.
